Summer Wedding at Willowdale Estate

Alyssa and Wes’s summer wedding day at Willowdale Estate just outside Boston could not have been more perfect. Not only was the weather idyllic, the venue was stunning, and the details and design of the day were beautiful. But it was really the people who made this day so special.

If you read Alyssa and Wes’s engagement blog, then you know that this couple is very dear to us. Alyssa was a part of our own wedding day 7 years ago, so you can imagine just how touched we were when they asked us to capture their wedding day. We knew it was bound to be one of the most memorable events we would have the honor of being a part of. And we were absolutely right!

From getting ready with their fun and sweet wedding parties and families, to their Christ-centered ceremony, to their celebration of a reception, each portion of the day was filled with joy and excitement. Alyssa and Wes found so many thoughtful ways to make sure that all their loved ones knew how much they cherished them. They exchanged letters, gifts, and tender moments with everyone…including us 🙂

Additionally, we cannot say enough about Willowdale Estate. I mean WOW. This historic mansion turned venue was incredible. It had so much coziness, character, and charm, but was also very elegant and classy. The amazing florals by Garden Designs beautifully complimented the surroundings, and the cake by Topsfield Bakeshop was absolutely delicious!

Lyss, I cannot express how truly honored I felt to be asked to capture your biggest day. We have so many treasured memories together, and now I am so thankful I got to be part of your beautiful wedding day. We are so excited for you and Wes as you start this new adventure together! You two are perfect for each other, and we could not be more thrilled to show you the love and joy we witnessed between you through these photos. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell!
