Jessica and Matt’s sage and dusty rose summer wedding at Cedarmont Farm was a day to remember!

We knew Jessica and Matt’s wedding day was going to be special, but we didn’t know just how special and significant it would actually be. The pair had told us in advance about a couple of fun details they had planned, like a choreographed first dance they had been practicing for months as well as a unique grand exit (scroll to the end of the blog to see!). But we had no idea just how many meaningful details there would be for us to capture.

We knew that they would be honoring Jessica’s late mother in a couple special ways throughout the day, but what they didn’t tell us is that Jessica actually chose her wedding colors in honor of her mother, and surprised her dad by wearing her mother’s necklace. Jessica’s first look with her dad was one of the sweetest and most heartwarming experiences we have had the honor of capturing in our time as wedding photographers. And then to top off such a sweet day, after their first dance, Matt surprised Jessica with a dance he choreographed himself to a love song.

There were too many touching, teary-eyed moments to recount, but it’s those moments that always make up our most favorite wedding day memories.

A great deal of credit for this beautiful day goes to the incredible team at Cedarmont. We absolutely loved working with this team of efficient, organized, and kind coordinators. Not only did they make sure to keep the day running smoothly and take all the stress off the bride and groom, but they also made the couple feel so celebrated and special. We cannot recommend Cedarmont and the staff there enough!
