Emily and Michael’s fall wedding at the Cedars of Lebanon State Park was the perfect way for us to wrap up our first wedding season in Tennessee!
Cedars of Lebanon has a beautiful historic stone lodge tucked into the property that made for the perfect location for Emily and Michael to tie the knot. The bride and groom spent the morning getting ready with their closest friends and family in a couple of the cozy cabins around the lodge. It was a brisk fall day, but the cold weather definitely didn’t dampen the excitement, and we loved capturing all the joy!
Emily picked up all the flowers from Import Flowers Nashville and did all of the bouquets, centerpieces, and décor herself (amazing!!). We adored their stunning letterpress invitation suite from Minted, and we especially loved the beautiful brass jewelry tray Emily picked out for styling their details. Don’t you think it really tied everything together so nicely? We love how detail-oriented our brides are!
But outside of how beautiful and well-thought out all their details were, the thing that really stood out to us about their day was how personal Emily and Michael made it. These two picked out and planned every detail keeping their families in mind. Emily held a piece of her mother’s wedding dress in her bouquet as she walked down the aisle. She also wore a pair of her mother’s pears as well as a pair of earrings Michael gifted to his mother when he was little. Michael’s bow tie was made out of the fabric of his mom’s wedding dress, too. These little sentimental details were woven throughout their wedding making the day that much more meaningful.
Emily and Michael, we know how hard the two of you worked to make this day possible. And your work REALLY paid off! Everything came together so beautifully, including how effortless and seamless the day was from start to finish. We got to enjoy every minute with the two of you and we are so grateful you chose us to capture it all! Congratulations and enjoy reliving the moments through your photos.
