It was a joy and an honor to photograph Hannah and Blake’s timeless spring wedding day at the beautiful Birchwood Venue in Spring Hill, TN.
Hannah and Blake’s wedding day was one of those days where Beau and I looked at each other and just knew what we were both thinking: we LOVE our job.
Hannah has a timeless and classic style that was so evident throughout all the details of the day. One of our favorite details was the beautiful crest Blake designed for their custom invitations. And we loved how they found ways to incorporate it into other aspects of their day, like on the programs, cocktail cups, and napkins. It was a simple added touch that really elevated their details and made their day so personal.
Not only was their wedding day beautiful in its details and design, but Hannah and Blake also found so many ways to honor each other and celebrate the many important people in their lives.
From exchanging letters while getting ready, to enjoying a private dinner after their ceremony, to closing the night with a private last dance, Hannah and Blake found special ways to make their wedding day about the two of them.
But they also didn’t miss an opportunity to shine a light on everyone they love, both in attendance and not. They carved out time in the day to exchange gifts with family members, take photos with close friends, and they also asked a few of them to take on special roles during the ceremony. Then just when we didn’t think the day could get any sweeter, a recording of Hannah’s late grandmother singing “My Mother’s Pearls” started playing for her father-daughter dance.
It was such a pleasure to work with an amazing vendor team! Everything about the day went SO smoothly, thanks to the expertise of Logan with Violet and Vines Events. We loved capturing One Wildflower Designs’ amazing florals, as well as stealing a bite of Triple Crown Bakery’s delicious cake! There were so many other fabulous vendors who made this day possible. Don’t miss them listed at the end of the blog!
Hannah and Blake, congratulations and thank you for choosing us to capture these important memories for you two. Your love for each other and all your family and friends radiated throughout your day and it’s so evident in your photos. Welcome home from your honeymoon, and enjoy reliving all these wedding day memories together!
