Amanda and Shay’s navy and blush wedding at the beautiful Camarillo Ranch was a day to remember!

The beginning of the day was a beautiful blur of stunning details, the sweetest bridal party getting ready together (thanks to the amazing work of Fairytale Hair and Makeup!), and precious moments for Amanda and Shay’s closest friends and family. But everything slowed to a calm when Shay felt a tap on his shoulder and turned to see his bride for the first time that day.

Every time we get to witness a first look with one of our couples, it is a reminder to us of how much we wish we did one at our own wedding! Amanda and Shay chose to exchange private vows together during their first look, and they got to savor a some sweet quiet moments, just the two of them, before their ceremony. During their first look, we got to witness some of Shay’s biggest smiles of the day as the couple shared their joy.

One of our favorite moments of the day was when Amanda and Shay’s son, Luke, walked down the aisle. He had the biggest grin on his face and he couldn’t contain his excitement! He ran to Shay and jumped into his arms. They waited together at the alter for their favorite girl to walk down the aisle.

The Camarillo Ranch was the perfect location for Amanda and Shay’s beautiful day. We loved the elegance of the Victorian home coupled with the historic, rustic barn used as the reception space. Megan Dickey with Growing Love Events really transformed the space into exactly what the couple envisioned for the day. But we have to say that our favorite detail was definitely the Sola Wood florals. We have never seen such unique florals at a wedding before! They complimented Amanda and Shay’s rustically elegant theme for the day perfectly.

Amanda and Shay, we are so honored that you chose us to capture all the precious moments of your beautiful day. We know it was challenging to plan your wedding during this crazy year, but everything came together amazingly!
