Carpinteria Nature Bluffs Engagement

Knowing Erin was minutes from home, Trevor propped up his phone in the corner of the apartment and clicked the button to start recording. He positioned himself right in front of his phone, facing the front door. He heard the key click in the lock as Erin pushed open the door. She was happy to be home after a long day of work, and she walked through the door completely oblivious to Trevor’s phone recording in the corner. She had no idea that what had seemed like a totally normal day was about to become her favorite day ever!

Trevor greeted her and began to tell her why he loved her. As he got down on one knee, he pulled out the ring he had custom designed just for her. Erin couldn’t contain her joy as Trevor slipped the ring on her finger and she said “yes” to forever with her favorite person!

Last summer, Trevor and Erin reached out to us to capture their wedding day. What we didn’t know at the time was that their wedding had already been completely planned. They had already booked all the vendors they needed, including photographers. Their venue was an all-inclusive one stop shop for weddings, and they were so excited to celebrate their biggest day there.

But just a few months before their date, their venue was forced to cancel all their plans due to COVID restrictions. So the pair had to start completely replanning their wedding from scratch at a different venue.

What seemed like a huge disappointment at the time has actually turned into the biggest blessing. Not only are they even more in love with their new venue than they were with their previous venue, but now Beau and I get the honor of capturing their big day! And that started with their beautiful engagement session at the Carpinteria Nature Bluffs.

Erin and Trevor, we are so excited to finally celebrate with you two this summer. Even though you have sent out multiple ‘save the dates,’ and planned and replanned your wedding, it will all feel so worth it when June 26^th finally arrives. We are counting down the days with you!
