Cheeseboro Trails Family Session

As special and fun as family portrait sessions are, we know they can take a lot of preparation and work! It can be challenging to get your family organized and pick outfits for everyone that coordinate but aren’t too matchy-matchy (throwback to those 90’s family photos!!). Then on the day of, there is so much to think about while getting everyone ready for the session. Beau and I just recently did a portrait session for the two of us, and that was tough to prepare for, and we don’t even have kids yet!

That’s why we love providing families with our portrait session style guide to help you prepare for your session. And what we love even more is when families are able to find helpful tips in that guide that make their session easier and more enjoyable for everyone!

When the Khandverdis arrived at Cheeseboro Trails for their family session, our jaws dropped. This family looked too good in their perfectly coordinated outfits! Sweet Vienna looked like a little princess in her sparkly purple dress, and even little Zoie was all dolled up for her first portrait session ever. Alice and Borzou looked ready for a magazine shoot, and Alice even came prepared with a second pair of shoes so that she could take off her heels when we moved to different spots during their session. They were so prepared!

But what was even better than this family’s sense of style was their joy. They were so happy to be there together and capture their memories of this first Christmas as a family of 4.

Sweet little Vienna loved posing with her parents. We couldn’t believe how photo-ready she was! Every time we asked her to hug her dad tight, or give her mom a kiss and a smile, she was ready! When Borzou told us that he is also a photographer and loves photographing his daughter, it made perfect sense. She has had plenty of practice! 🙂

Thank you, Khanverdi Family, for choosing us to capture your joy as you approach this first Christmas with little Zoie! We had so much fun with all of you and we look forward to hanging out with you again at church!
