Marina Del Rey Ceremony

Would you meet a complete stranger in a Target parking lot, get in their car, drive 4 miles, get out and then go on a hike with them ALONE? You’re probably shaking your head and saying “absolutely not,” right now, but Brooklynn was undaunted. She met Matt on Tinder, agreed to meet-up with him at Target, hopped in his car, and went on a hike with him. And you know what? Thank goodness she did because it was that day that she found her soul mate!

When Brooklynn and Matt contacted us about their Marina Del Rey ceremony and reception, we couldn’t contain our excitement! These two had planned to get married in Colorado, but wanted to figure out some way to include Matt’s 92-year-old grandmother who lived in California and couldn’t make the trip for their wedding. So, they planned an amazing second wedding and Ketubah signing to honor her and Matt’s late grandfather, William.

The venue was the Del Rey Yacht Club where Matt’s grandfather was a founding member, and they invited Matt’s family and their California friends to celebrate their marriage there. But Matt’s Nana walking the two of them down the aisle wasn’t the only highlight of the evening…

Unknown to Matt, Brooklynn had picked out and planned a second wedding dress for the occasion. So when we planned a first look for the two of them, Matt was very confused and told Beau he was going to have to fake his surprise for the photos since they had gotten married in the same attire only a week prior.

But he was completely shocked and amazed when he turned around and saw his bride looking radiant in a brand-new dress! The more time you spend with these two the more you witness their love and affection for one another. They both exude joy and made it so much fun to hang out with them, their friends, and their family.

Brooklynn and Matt, thank you so much for letting us be a part of this amazing ceremony! It was so much fun seeing the love your families have for you both and also celebrating this amazing time in your life. We hope the festivities never end and that this new journey in your lives is even better than you could have ever imagined!
